Calhoun's Water Tank trails are located just 1 mile from downtown Calhoun.  This beautiful piece of land is ready to be enjoyed by mountain bikers, hikers and those who just want a short walk through the woods for a family picnic with a great mountain view!  A pavilion with picnic tables has been built at the top.  Enjoy the great scenic overlook from the pavilion.

Directions:  The trails are less than one mile from the Armory.  Take 156 towards Rome.  Pass the Calhoun City Utilities building on the left.  Just before you reach the new bridge you'll turn right onto Kirby road.  Turn left onto the first dirt road. There is a gravel parking area to the left.  You can also continue on the dirt road up the hill to the radio tower if you want to pickup in the middle of the trail, or hike further uphill to the overlook pavilion and picnic table.
